The extent to which we benefit from the genuine sources of the religion in the area of deduction and inference of Islamic law depends on how far we know and understand those sources. The more we realize the importance of the Quran, tradition and reason and their place in the arithmetic of understanding the religion, the more we will seek to benefit from them. It is for the same reason that it is necessary for every jurist to increase his contemplations in this regard. In this study, the authoritativeness and qualitative position of reason has been the focus of attention and efforts have been made to present, perhaps some new analysis on the authoritativeness of reason as a proof and its relationship with inerrancy.
