Abstract

The crucial rule which human force plays within an organization has caused it to be considered and seen as the most important and most valuable capital of an organization. In fact, it is only an appropriate human force that leads to success of an organization. The question is: What are the criteria through which we can have efficient and effective human force that can lead to an efficient organization. The present writing endeavors to determine the criteria of recruiting and choosing human force by referring to two categories of sayings from the Commander of the Faithful, Ali (a.s.) especially his statements addressed to Malik Ashtar Nakha’ei. In this study, the criteria have been divided into three categories: organizational, moral and ideological. Thereupon, the moral and ideological criteria have been explained according to Imam Ali (a.s.). However, the organizational criteria have not been dealt with because of the fact that it is occasional and related to a particular case. What actually separates the criteria put forth by Imam Ali (a.s.) from the Western standards is the former’s attitude and view towards man, the world and the afterworld. Thus, the criteria in his view are those criteria which encompass all the aspects of human life and which finally lead to efficiency and good performance of an organization.
